Creative Writing Club #1 Topic: Service Learning Outcome 3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a fieldwork experience Going into the start of the school year knowing that everything will be online requires a different approach towards running a club and social networking. Creative Writing Club was a club that I was hesitant to join as a freshman since I would have to let others critique my writing and I have always been very shy about sharing my work. I was also intimidated by all the other members since they seemed to be much more experienced than I was. I wasn't comfortable with joining until the other club members started coming less and less later in the year. This year, I hope that I can use the distance in distance learning to my advantage by making the club environment seem more welcoming for new students.
