#10 CWC: A Picture is Worth a 1000 Words

 Creative Writing Club #5  Topic: Service  Learning Outcome 5: Working Collaboratively My co-president and I have been planning a longer activity together but in the more recent weeks we have been receiving a lower turnout so we had been putting it off for a few weeks. We planned on doing a short story writing mini-course called "A Picture is Worth a 1000 Words." It would span three meetings, the first week would be for practice, the second week would be our writing portion and our third week would be for feedback.  For our practice class, we practiced prompt writing through pictures and giving feedback. We usually have about 15-20 minutes of prompt writing class so the result is usually a piece about two paragraphs long for most of us.  For our writing portion, we had a planned to do a lesson on character building, plot, and worldbuilding for short stories then giving some time to write. #9 Chloe Ting: 2 Week Shred

 Chloe Ting Workout #2  Topic: Activity  Learning Outcome 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process. During Thanksgiving Break I had some time to spare and I hadn't really been exercising consistently since mid-October so I was feeling a little lazy. My sister, however, had been working out about five days a week with the 2 Week Shred which she had completed for the 5th time. I decided to try it again since I had already completed it once in the summer. I felt that it was easier to get used to because I had done it before, the muscle memory helped me to pick up faster even though the first two days were still a struggle. I was following the schedule consistently until the break ended. I started stretching my rest periods, but giving time for my body to recover actually helped with performance. It also started getting more difficult to start during the last week since there were longer sessions. I think I will continue doing ...
