#6 My New Art Style: Beginners Meme Making

My New Art Style #1  Topic: Creativity  Learning Outcome 1: Identify areas of strength and develop areas for growth  A lot of my friends were making memes and I thought it looked fun, but I didn't want to download photoshop and then have to learn how to use it. So I used google slide which I was very familiar with. I had also recently been introduced to remove.bg which automatically crops the backgrounds out of images so you don't have to do it manually. To be honest, I lost a lot of motivation since it wasn't as f...

Creative Writing Club #4  Topic: Service  Learning Outcome 1: Identify areas of strength and develop areas for growth  After running several successful meetings with lessons including prompt writing, Kurt Vonnegut's shapes of stories, and a fun activity on character writing from interactive online stories, we were approached by our club advisor, Ms. Harrison. She informed us that the high school staff and community council had been discussing a plan to formalize clubs. That would mean having a teacher chaperone at all meetings, deciding whether we'll be meeting consistently or have one off meetings, being drop-in or members only, along with other things. We will have to make this decision by Friday this week.  When Ms. Harrison had her first drop-in with us last week, we were not exactly having our most formal meeting. We were just running through one of the interactive story games that we had already done the week before, so everyone who had done the activity ...
